Born in Chapel Hill, NC Jessica grew up an Air Force dependent, therefore she has lived and
traveled all over the world. However, home has always been in North Carolina where her roots
run deep. She has fond memories of summers spent on the shores of Shackleford Banks and
staying with family in Morehead City.
Jessica has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration & Management from Troy University. It was
there that she met her husband, Aaron. Upon graduating they moved to Atlanta, Ga. Jessica
went into the consumer finance industry. Due to her combined drive and determination, she
quickly worked her way up to be a Manager for Wells Fargo.
After achieving a successful career in the corporate world, she and her husband decided to start
a family so Jessica left the workforce to pursue her lifetime role as a wife and mother. It was her
heart’s desire and the Lord’s calling to be home with her children when they were little. In
addition to homeschooling, Jessica has become a parent advocate and an active participant in
the local public school system. She has served in church ministries, lead VBS music, volunteered
within public schools and the community.
The Hunt family now calls Jacksonville, NC home where Jessica serves as our Preschool Director
at Trinity. As a parent, she desired their children to attend a Christian preschool. As a believer,
Jessica is passionate about ministering to the hearts of children and their families. Having her
father as a preacher and her mother as a teacher played an integral role in her life. Their
influence shaped her to believe that teaching children is both a calling and a ministry! Jessica
understands the importance of laying a firm foundation for children to be grounded in faith,
which is rooted in the Word of God.
In her free time Jessica enjoys watching her children play sports, going out on the boat with
family, enjoying the beach, camping, traveling, reading, participating in Bible studies and having
meaningful conversation with close friends.
